Get Walking. Get Involved.

Queensland Walks in partnership with walking programs 10,000 Steps, and Heart Foundation will deliver the newly named 'Walk Week'  a positive campaign to encourage Queenslanders to be more active by walking.

 

You can get involved by starting a step challenge or tournaments, walking group, coffee trails and walking meetings.

 

Being mindful of the changing circumstances of Queenslanders due to COVID-19,  Queensland Walks has refocused the previously named Walk at Work Week to incorporate more than workplace walking. The newly named Walk Week will run from 17 - 23 August 2020 in conjunction with 10,000 Steps and Heart Foundation Walking. 

The change to Walk Week will mean that we will be able to encourage people to walk more in all settings: workplaces, clinics, working from home, and even recreationally (after work, weekend bushwalking etc).

 

Once again, there will be no cost to get register or get involved.
